Edward SundbergAs Joint Managing Director of the Burruano Group, Edward Sundberg, with over 37-years experience in management and engineering, is an accomplished, challenge-oriented, professional executive with solid career experience in all aspects of business management, including strategic planning, accounting and control, profit and loss, investments and business development, mergers and acquisitions, re-engineering and spin-offs. He specializes in identifying viable business opportunities and core business needs, reorganizing troubled operations and envisioning end-results in competitive market environments. Sundberg's experience compasses start-up, turnaround, high-growth, global and family owned operations.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Sundberg, holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with honors from Boston University. He has parlayed his exceptional organizational and leadership skills into several senior executive positions both domestically and internationally, having held CEO positions five times within a ten year period where he was responsible for directing several companies out of distress, and orchestrated numerous mergers and acquisitions.

Sundberg specializes in business performance and restructuring with an emphasis on sales and markets, planning, organizational design, productivity and strategic selling. His expertise in growing existing businesses into profit generating entities is a result of creating and developing the product, brand and the service values of a business. He possesses skills in communication, human-relations, leadership and team-building, as well as presentation, negotiation and employee motivation; he is globally networked and connected as well, having lived in Japan and Germany and having worked in Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom.

When Did I Lose My CompanyIn addition to his affiliation with the Burruano Group, Sundberg is the founder and managing partner of the management firm of GPS Group, L.L.C. which specializes in project development, financing, restructuring and recapitalization of infrastructure, energy, communication and natural resource projects. He is a former member of the Board of Alloy Polymers, Georgia Amateur Hockey Association, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Paradise Island Beach Club, Nassau Bahamas, and former Chairman of the Board of Laminaire Corp. and former President of the Board of Litchfield Hundred Development. He is currently Chairman of the Marketing and Communications Committee of the Board of the US Navy Memorial and Foundation in Washington DC. Sundberg is also a retired Captain, US Naval Reserve, with over thirty five years supporting nuclear submarine operations and maintenance.
